configuraram um total de 12 experimentos, para os 3 primeiros dias

Mesoscale models are tools that require relatively low investments
and has been showing favorable. However, also have limitations,
for example, the difficulty in representing the turbulence, this
difficulty is intrinsically related to the impossibility to
reproduce the physical processes of turbulent trade at the moment,
energy and mass, between surface and atmosphere. It seen these
limitations this paper presents a series of sensitivity tests
between the Mesoscale Model WRF configured with different physical
parameterizations and the wind speed measured in automatic weather
stations of the INMET located in the NEB. The WRF model was
configured with domain 3 (grid) of 5 x 5 km resolution over the
region under study, the location of this grid if obtained from a
Cluster Analysis previously performed with wind intensity data of
121 automatic weather stations of the NEB for the period 2008 to
2013. The configured sensitivity tests a total of 12 experiments,
for the first 3 days of the month of May 2009.When reviewing the
results it is observed that independent of the parameterizations
adopted, there is a strong tendency to overestimation of the
intensity of the winds by the WRF model for the 13 localities
chosen to perform statistical analysis of mean square error and
bias. As it was expected some parameterizations are more suitable
for that domain to another, depending on the NEB to be influenced
by different weather systems, for example, the annual cycle of
precipitation on the east coast is different to that of the
central region of the NEB.",
